Jonathan Rhys-Meyers is one of the only Irish actors to have escaped the glut of only appearing in Neil Jordan movies, although that is where he got his first major role. He's worked with indie favorites Todd Haynes, Mike Hodges, and Mira Nair, as well as Woody Allen. He recently finished working on, of all things, Mission Impossible 3. No word yet on whether he's going to become a Scientologist.

He got on the list because Ethan says Match Point is the first hot Woody Allen movie.
