Jarvis Cocker's been just under the radar since Pulp went on hiatus a few years ago. He put out an electro album in 2004 with Longpigs' Richard Hawley under the name Relaxed Muscle. He fronted the band of wizards int he last Harry Potter movie. He became a celebrity DJ and even showed up in the last Gossip Girl book to DJ Blair Waldorf's graduation party.

Jarvis is on the list because he's interesting and there are rumours of a solo album sometime in the near future. His and Steve Mackey's contribution to The Trip mix series (featuring such gems as The Polecats' cover of John I'm Only Dancing as well as songs by Gene Pitney, the Human League, and Quixotic).

More!: Sorry, Jarvis has no internet presence whatsoever. Not even any MySpace people that are pretending to be him. That includes this picture being pretty much the only one we could find of him, and it's from John Peel's funeral in 2004.
