Jake Gyllenhaal is the only man who's made this list four years in a row. He does it by starring in movies that are actually interesting--okay, maybe not Bubble Boy or The Day After Tomorrow, but his better roles run the gamut from dark and moody (Donnie Darko, The Good Girl) to brooding (Brokeback Mountain, Lovely and Amazing). We didn't see Jarhead or Proof. Or Bubble Boy, for that matter. His next movie, Steven Fincher's Zodiac, is about the reporters in San Francisco on the trail of the Zodiac killer in the early seventies.

Jake is on the list because he looks a little bit like a frat boy and gay men everywhere still love him.
