Beautiful People 2006

Hello, and welcome to the Gloomy Pharmacy's fifth annual Beautiful People list. Some of them you know of, and some of them you've never heard of before. Some are rock stars and movie stars, and others aren't famous at all. We've got men and women representing over a dozen countries who range in age from eighteen to seventy-five, which is the most diverse list we've ever come up with.

We'd like to thank all the people in the US, Australia, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands who sent in nominees--this year's list was extremely selective and we only ended up using about half of the nominated people. But thanks to Anthony, Antonio, Becky, Beth, Francine, Hugh, Jack, Kerry, Laika, Maarten, Mike, Philipp, and Vivien. We'd also like to thank Judy from Shooting Raisins In The Sun. Somehow we missed her e-mail the first time around and so didn't include her two nominees, Michael Soto and Sylvia. But you should check out her blog; it's pretty amusing.

Philipp and Laika also win prizes for their efforts. We're sending them both mix CDs livingly compiled by US.
